Gaynor takes City Golf Tourney

Kevin Gaynor took the crown in this past weekend’s Nashua City Golf Championship, besting Rick Moreau by two strokes in the final round Sunday at Sky Meadow Country Club.

Gaynor, who plays out of Souhegan Woods, and Moreau, who plays out of Sky Meadow, each shot a 70 in the first round at Nashua Country Club. Gaynor broke that deadlock by firing a 72 at Sky Meadow.

Nate Crowley (NCC) was third at 145, followed by Sean Gildea (Sky Meadow) at 147, Russell Hamel (NCC) at 148, Bryce Zimmerman at 149, Jack Fitzgerald (Sky Meadow) and Cameron Sheedy (Nashua), at 152, John Duarte (Passaconaway) 154, and Michael Cole (Amherst) and Jon Dyer (NCC), 155.

Eric Emenau, who plays out of Souhegan Woods, won the Senior Division shooting a 149. Pat Dion (Amherst) and Steve Lane (Souhegan) tied for second at 154, Bob Mook (Souhegan Woods) shot a 155, and Ben Frazier and Larry Nutall (both out of Souhegan Woods) came in at 156.
