Legion Baseball: Hudson Post 48 bounces back, 11-3

By Staff reports - | Jul 9, 2022

They just may be tourney tough.

The Hudson American Legion Post 48 baseball team, after two tough District B losses, bounced back Friday with an 11-3 win on the road over Salem.

Hudson is now 7-7, just ahead of Dover (5-6). If the season were to end today, the local nine would qualify for the state Senior Legion tourney that begins July 22 at Holman Stadium.

Jake Dufour, Alex Blais and Evan Beals each had two hits for the 48ers, while Brady Simard got the win on the mound.

There’s a week left in the regular season, believe it or not, and Hudson will visit Portsmouth on Monday before hosting Exeter on Wednesday and wrapping things up at home vs. Rochester on Friday.
