There weren’t any local high school softball championships this past spring, but that didn’t stop several locals from making the New Hampshire Softball Coaches Association All-State teams in all four divisions.

In Division I, local First Teamers were Bishop Guertin’s Maddy Bowen and Merrimack’s Morgan Goodspeed. Alvirne’s Talia Luca and Merrimack’s Grace Lawton (Second Team) plus Nashua South’s Liz DeRusha (Honorable Mention) were also honored.

Hollis Brookline’s Austin Kump and Kailey Disco (First Team), Milford’s Keelie Wells and Souhegan’s Olivia Harnish (Second Team) were on the Division II squad.

Campbell, of course, as a Division III runnerup, had its share of players honored.

Cougar First Teamers included Catherine Carignan and Morgan Bruner, while Leann Ramos and Maddie Lane were on Second Team.

Wilton-Lyndeborough’s Abby Dowling was on the Division IV Second Team.

Finally, Nashua’s Bill Soubosky was named the Umpire of the Year.
