The next phase in the NHIAA’s postseason of state meets takes place this weekend with the Divison I and II Swimming and Diving Championships at UNH and the State Gymnastics Meet at A2 Gym & Cheer in Salem.
Here’s a look, beginning with swimming as diving is tonight at UNH with the rest of the events Saturday:
DIVISION I GIRLS SWIMMING
Locally, teams aren’t favored for team titles but perhaps some individual championships, especially diving.
In girls diving, the top seeds are local, with Alvirne’s Auri Anderson the top seed followed by Nashua South’s Elsie Goyette.
Nashua North’s Any Seo is the fifth seed in 200 Free and No. 6 in the 500 Free, while Bishop Guertin’s Vivian Carlton is ranked third in the 100 Butterfly.
DIVISION I BOYS
It’s a three-way local race in diving, as Nashua North’s Dawson Bolton is the top seed, followed by the only other two competitors from South, Likhith Vavisetti and Nathan Perry. The odds are with Bolton.
North’s Jack White is seeded third in the 200 IM and 100 Back, while Alvirne’s Steve Pollard is seeded second in the 100 Fly and the 100 Back. Nashua North’s 200 Medley and 400 Relay teams are is seeded seventh.

Tonight in diving the only local is Souhegan’s Samuel Hogan, seeded second in a three-diver competition.
The Sabers and Cavs are one-two in the 200 Medley Relay and the Sabers are No. 1 in the 200 Free Relay.
