NASHUA – The honors keep coming in for the Frye twins and Nashua North coach Jacqueline Thompson.
Nashua High School North girls soccer standouts Sarah and Allison Frye were recently named to the United Soccer Coches All Region team as well as named All-Americans.
Sarah Frye, meanwhile, was named New Hampshire Player of the Year by United Soccer Coaches. Also, their coach at North, Thompson, was named Coach of the Year for Large Schools in New Hampshire by the United Soccer Coaches. She was named last month as the Divison I All-State Coach of the Year.
The Fryes wrapped up a brilliant career at North, taking the Titans to the Division I semifinals in 2024 and nearly getting there again this past season, both years battling city rival Bishop Guertin in penalty kicks.
They will play what will likely be their final game together this summer for the New Hampshire Lions Cup team vs. Vermont.
The United Soccer Coaches is an organization that, in its words, “is the trusted and unifying voice, advocate and partner for coaches of all levels of the game.”
