HS Roundup: BG boys roll; HB, North, South girls win

Winning was the name of the game for a lot of local high school soccer teams on Tuesday, as the Bishop Guertin boys stayed unbeaten and the Nashua South girls rallied, while North was in control. And, of course, the Hollis Brookline girls ran the win streak to 43.
Here’s your Tuesday:
BISHOP GUERTIN 13, SPAULDING 1
The Cardinals (5-0) win in decisive fashion over Spaulding. Tavish Keenan (two goals), Trenton Cormier (two goals), Nick Chartier (two goals, two assists), Alvaro Quintanilla (goal, assist), Josh Corriveau (goal, three assists), Jon DiNitto (goal), Liam Ireland (goal, assist), Shane Ireland (goal), Luis Haas (assist) and John Kraus (assist) lit up the box score.
Spaulding’s lone goal was by senior Logan Crosby. BG hosts Alvirne on Thursday.
NASHUA NORTH 4, LONDONDERRY 4
The Titans (2-3-1) and the Lancers left the field on Tuesday with a tie after a back and forth battle. Gavin Suchecki, Caleb Gelineau, Ousmane Bah Sy and Mason Dandeneau each scored for the locals. North hosts Manchester Central on Saturday.
HOLLIS BROOKLINE 2, KENNETT 1
The Cavs scored two second half goals to improve their record to 2-2-2. John Constantine scored the first goal on a free kick and Chris Ledger was able to pounce on a rebound late in the game. Ian Sinclair made two saves, while Camden Sanford and Graham Keller each impressed for the locals. HB visits Plymouth on September 23.
SOUHEGAN 1, MERRIMACK VALLEY 1
The Sabers drive back home on Tuesday with a tie. Trystan Zukovic scored a goal on an assist from Carpenter Berube and Finnegan Daly made five saves. Souhegan hosts Campbell on Thursday.
GIRLS SOCCER
NASHUA SOUTH 3, MERRIMACK 2
The Panthers (1-2-2) came back from being down 0-2 with 10 minutes left in the game to find their first win of the season. Julia Stutz was the one to knock in the game winning goal. Ella Bois and Alexa Couto were the others to find the back of the net. Reese Doolan added to the overall play in the victory.
South hosts Hanover and Merrimack (2-3) hosts Exeter on Thursday.
NASHUA NORTH 2, LONDONDERRY 0
Alli and Sarah Frye each tallied a goal in the Titans (5-1) win. Kathleen Schreiner stood tall in net and Abby Acevedo led the defense. North visits Manchester Central-West on Thursday.
HOLLIS BROOKLINE 4, KENNETT 0
The Cavs improve to 5-0 after a shutout win on Tuesday afternoon. Leading HB were Livi Ward (two goals), DD Lussier (goal, assist), Olivia Langfield (goal), Marleigh (assist), Ava Barry (assist), Maddy Leonard (six saves), Grace Dow and Kai Swart. HB hosts Plymouth on September 23.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
PINKERTON 3, ALVIRNE 0
The Broncos (2-3) fall to the Astros 23-25, 16-25, 15-25. Hailee Lane (six kills, block), Kya Maben (three kills, three blocks, ace), Mena Lewis (13 assists, kill), Sammie Schiller (three aces) played well in the loss.
Alvirne visits Windham on Friday.
GOLF
BISHOP GUERTIN 190, WINDHAM 198, NASHUA NORTH 211
The Cardinals leave Windham Country Club with a win over the Jaguars and the Titans. Owen Murphy shot a 35 to earn medalist honors for BG. Chase Brisebois (36) and Aaron Ackerman (38) each had solid performances.
North saw good play on the green from Sam Kobs (40), Dawson Bolton (41), Morgan Barry (43) and Brayden Ouellet (43).
