HS Roundup: North, Merrimack volleyball teams win
Two high school girls volleyball teams that are on a collision course on Monday picked up Friday wins. A previously unbeaten field hockey team suffered its first loss of the season.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
NASHUA NORTH 3, WINNACUNNET 0
The Titans (4-3) sweep the Warriors to end their three game drought. Aleen and Logan Sartor played well on the offensive and defensive end. North hosts Merrimack on Monday.
MERRIMACK 3, CONCORD 2
The Tomahawks improve to 6-1 winning by the scores of 26-24, 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-12. Contributing in the win were Amelia Walker (13 kills, four aces), Rachel Flett (17 kills), Leah Monroe (six kills), Noor Eldeib (33 assists, four kills, four digs), Sofia Vital (10 digs), Sofia DeGrazia (six digs) and Jordyn McLaughlin (seven digs).
Merrimack visits Nashua North on Monday.
BOYS SOCCER
NASHUA NORTH 0, MANCHESTER CENTRAL 0
The Titans (2-4-1) end their match in a hard fought draw in Manchester. Tyler Byrne recorded nine saves for the locals. North visits Nashua South on Tuesday.
FIELD HOCKEY
BOW 1, HOLLIS BROOKLINE 0
The Cavs (6-1) lose their first game of the season when they visited the Falcons. HB hosts Kingswood on Monday.
GOLF
MERRIMACK 211, NASHUA NORTH 218, MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 249
The Tomahawks defeated North and Memorial at Souhegan Woods. The Titans Drew Goulet was a medalist with a 36.
Drew Beretti (41), Aanush Kathiala (42) Jackson Woods (42), Blake Beaulieu (43), Danny Lavigale (43) and Liam Aubut led the ‘Hawks to their two wins.
Tommy Dratch (44), Conor Prunier (45) and Dawson Bolton also were keys for North.
