HS Roundup: South girls volleyball wins again; BG, Alvirne tie

The good times keep rolling for the Nashua High School South girls volleyball team. The Bishop Guertin boys soccer team is much improved from last year, while another improved team, Merrimack, hit a bump in the road.
It’s all part of a light Thursday around local sports circles:
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
NASHUA SOUTH 3,LONDONDERRY 0
The Panthers got 13 kills and eight digs from Mia Suljic, while Molly Lecklider had 10 kills and 11 digs, and Hayleigh Hicks added five kills and three blocks.
The Panthers are at Concord on Monday.
BOYS SOCCER
BISHOP GUERTIN 2, ALVIRNE 2
The Cards got goals by Alex Haight and Ryan Neary, with an assist to Andrew Klyop. The Broncos goals were by Nate Chava and Garret Howard, one on a penalty kick and the other being the equalizer early in the second half.
The Cards are now 3-2-1 and will head to Merrimack on Tuesday, while Alvirne is still searching for its first win at 0-4-2, and will visit Concord Tuesday.
EXETER 3,MERRIMACK 1
The Tomahawks got a goal from Danyil Kovryzhenko, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to 4-2-1. Kiden Martini had an assist.
Merrimack hosts Bishop Guertin next Tuesday.
