It’s been a good week for local high school women’s soccer, and Saturday proved it.

Meanwhile, it was not a good start for the Milford football team. This and some good cross country showings are in your Saturday report:

GIRLS SOCCER

BISHOP GUERTING 13, MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 0

The Cards had 10 different goal scorers: Kareena Sondhi, Shelby Goldstein, Soraya Chemaly, and Cam Leighton all registered their first varsity goal.

BG takes on the Manchester Central-West co-op on Wednesday.

NASHUA NORTH 1, PORTSMOUTH 0

Alli Frye has had quite a weekend, as she scored the game winner for the second straight day for the Titans, who are now 2-1.

Nora Ross was solid in goal while Sarah Frye also played well. North is at Merrimack on Tuesday.

FOOTBALL

PLYMOUTH 55, MILFORD 0

It was not a good start to the season at the Bobcats for the Spartans, spoiling the head coaching debut of Max Morelli.

Milford will try to regroup next Friday in its home opener vs. Hanover at 7 p.m.
