North girls track relay runners have good day at UNH

The New Hampshire Winter track league relays were held on Sunday at the University of New Hampshire, it was a good day for the Nashua High School North girls.

In the girls event, Nashua North’s 4×160 relay team of Allison Frye, Tiana Brown, Christina Juris and Jhanelle Thomas was first in 1.26.86.

Then the Titan relay of Frye, Juris, Brown and Thomas was first in the 4×100.

Nashua South’s 4×160 relay team of Alejandra Chavarin, Nevah Eppolito, Nyah Musa and Mimi Ortiz was second.

Merrimack got two wins by Alexis Best in the 55 in 7.42 seconds and 17-2 in the long jump..

Alvirne’s Petrina Ofori took first the 55 hurdles in 9.11

The Nashua South 4×160 relay team of Michael Menezes, Ryan Jansen, Marcell Perry and Ethan Schnyer were second in 1:15.41.

The South 4×800 relay team of Micah Allard, Matthew Motherway, Dante Castellano and Camdon Brien were third.

South’s 4×400 team of Allard, Menezes, Sergio Lopez and Perry were fifth.

Merrimack’s Luca Kabel was fourth in the 55 dash as was the 4×800 relay team of Nathaniel Bergen, Ben Basoli, Owen Forrest and Jordan Sugianato.

Alvirne’s 4×160 relay team of Shane Plumley, Jeremiah Yi, Joey Marcotte and Colin Fay were fifth.
