PLAYER OF THE YEAR

NICK XIE, BISHOP GUERTIN

Xie came onto the local tennis scene for the first time this season as a junior and dominated, losing just one singles match during the regular season and team tournament due to a default for academic reasons, and reached the finals of the state individual tourney. His play led BG to one of its most successful seasons in the last decade-plus, reaching the Division I semifinals.
