NASHUA – It wasn’t as fun a day as it could have been for the Nashua South-Pelham hockey team on Monday.

The Kings did play well, but were still on the short end of a 2-1 game with Bishop Brady at Conway Arena as the two teams combined for 11 penalties.

The Kings’ lone goal came at 11:53 of the third off the stick of Peter Gamache, assisted by Brendan Milward. But Brady got goals in the first two periods by John Thomas and Tucker Townsend, and the goaltending of Owen Currier made those scores hold up.

The Kings (1-10-1) are off until Saturday, when they head to face Bow at Concord’s Everett Arena. They may be short a player or two after one game misconduct penalty and a separate disqualification.

Riley Pelletier played well in net for South-Pelham with 13 stops.
