The Nashua High School North golf team finished the Divison I state tournament tied for fifth at Mt. Washington Golf Club on Tuesday.

And the top Titan, Bryce Zimmerman, is still within striking distance of a third straight individual crown.

But he’ll have some work to do on Sunday at Concord Country Club, as he is five shots off the pace.

Zimmerman shot an even par 72, and trails leaders Jack Pepin of Timberlane and Evan Desjardins of Salem, both of whom shot a five-under 67.

Will Ducharme of Exeter and Brady Burke of Bedford are both at minus-1. Zimmerman is the only local who made the cut to Sunday’s second day.

The Blue Hawks, meanwhile, snapped Bedford’s six-year Division I reign with a team total of 301, seven shots ahead of Concord (308) and the Bulldogs (314). Keene was fourth at 315 and North was tied for fifth with Timberlane at 317.

Locally, Bishop Guertin was eighth at 340, Merrimack 12th at 371 and Nashua South 14th at 385.

The Titans got a 74 from Eva Gonzales, while Spencer Champagne shot an 83 and Chris McQuinn an 88.

Guertin was paced by an 83 by Constantine Liakos and an 87 from Ryan Horgan.

Hunter Bailey’s 85 paced Merrimack, while Nashua South was led by Josh Gao’s 88 and Stephen Robbe’s 91.

The Cougars totaled 375, far behind the 322 posted by title winner Bow at Derryfield Country Club. Stevens was a distant second, 10 shots back.

Sean Ryan led the Cougars with an 82 and qualified for the second day of the Divison III individual tourney Sunday at Concord CC, going in 16th place. Mitchell Cormier of Fall Mountain and Evan Rollins of Laconia were the team day medalists with a one-over 71 each.

Also for the Cougars, Aiden Perigny had a 92 and Travis Breton a 93.
