Campbell girls 9-9 after win in regular season finale
Here’s a look at some weekend leftovers plus a rare Sunday high school game, as it was the last regular season day to play for Division III girls basketball:

The visiting Cougars wrapped up a 9-9 regular season Sunday as junior Riley Gamache had 14 points and eight rebounds and fellow junior Tori Allen added 11 but was a monster on the boards with 24 rebounds. She also had five steals as the Cougars needed the boost in the absence of starters Karleigh Schultz and Alyssa Gonzalez.
Freshman Guard Kristina Castellano added 10 while sophomores Bria Soule, Brooke Stoncius, and Bailey Bourque played heavy minutes and each pitched in three points. Kristina Castellano added nine rebounds. Division III tourney pairings will be announced tomorrow and the Cougars expect to begin the postseason on the road in Wednesday’s prelims.

The Warriors’ stellar season continues as they are now 12-4 with two games left in the regular season. The only goal they needed at Conway Arena was by Cole Giersch , assisted by Aiden Chretien and Nick Dapolito. Paul Vachon added a key insurance goal, assisted by Sal Vella and Joey Oetjens.
HBD will visit Belmont-Gilford at 4 p.m. Wednesday, then close out the regular season vs. John Stark-Hopkinton at Conway Arena on Saturday.
WRESTLING
DIVISION III MEET
CAMPBELL FINISHED EIGHTH
The Cougars will send three to this Saturday’s Meet of Champions at Nashua South after finishing eighth out of 16 this past Saturday with a six-wrestler group.
Justin Gandia (120) took second, while Chris Corbett (138) and Brett McIernerny took thirds.
