These streaks keep going. Sure, the Bishop Guertin baseball team’s streak ended, but the Hollis Brookline nine has won seven straight, and the Cardinals girls tennis team won it’s 11th straight. And that was a team that had two 10-day layoffs, one due to school vacation.

Here’s your Friday rundown:

BASEBALL

HOLLIS BROOKLINE 7, HANOVER 4

The Cavs (14-1) notch their seventh straight win after trailing by four runs. Nate Fauteux drove in two runs in the fourth on a home run left field. HB too the lead in the fifth after Thomas Howie homered to left and Jordan Morelli (three hits) singled to center scoring a run. Keenan Myers collected two hits. Myers and Renzo Bergskaug each stole multiple bases. Connor Gryniewicz earned the win allowing eight hits and four runs over seven innings while striking out seven. HB hosts Coe-Brown on Tuesday.

SOUHEGAN 11, PLYMOUTH 1

The Sabers dominate at home to improve to 10-6. Alex Trudel led the offense with four hits, two runs and four RBIs. Others adding to the box score were Alex Gaudet (hit, run, RBI), Jacob Bryan (run, RBI), Joe Mayo (run), Blake Powers (RBI), Sean Zerega (hit, run), Jordan Heikkinen (hit, run, RBI), Jaxson Densmore (hit, two runs) and Brody Smith (two runs). Gaudet pitched four and two-thirds innings allowing three hits, one run and striking out six. Souhegan hosts Milford on May 28.

MANCHESTER MEMORIAL 6, ALVIRNE 5

The Broncos (4-12) streak ends at three with a loss on the road Friday afternoon. Memphis Beach pitched five innings allowing five hits, four runs and striking out eight. Playing well on the offensive side were Beach (hit, RBI), Jameson Krueger (hit, run, RBI), Brady Mitchell (hit), Luke Norse (hit, run), Gavin Baviello (hit, run, RBI), Cole Baker (two hits, run, RBI) and PJ Millette (run). Alvirne hosts Pinkerton on Wednesday.

SOFTBALL

LONDONDERRY 12, NASHUA SOUTH 5

The Panthers (5-11) were ousted by the Lancers on Friday afternoon. Brooke Berger collected three hits for South. Berger and Maliyah Richer-Valentin drove in two runs apiece. Cate Marvin took the loss pitching seven innings and surrendering 12 runs (11 earned) on 17 hits and striking out six. South visits Winnacunnet on Wednesday.

SPAULDING 17, NASHUA NORTH 0

The Titans (0-16) were shutout by Spaulding on Friday afternoon. Neha Lingadal surrendered 21 hits, 17 runs (14 earned) and struck out two in five innings. Lingadal also added one hit to the offense. North visits Timberlane on Tuesday.

HOLLIS BROOKLINE 17, HANOVER 5

The Cavs (1-12) used the energy from Senior Night to pick up their first win of the season. Nina Giguere struck out one and walked four in six innings. Megan Eckman, Olivia Chakarian, Jenna O’Connor and Lindsey Emmons each had a hit and a RBI in the box score. Madelyn Sinclair hit a double. Brooke Olszewski took a walk and stole second and later on found her way to home plate on a hit by Lindsey Emmons. Kendall Dunn made it to first on a drop third strike and Emma Flynn scored a run from third on a delayed steal. HB hosts Coe-Brown on Tuesday.

BOYS LACROSSE

TIMBERLANE 14, NASHUA NORTH 13

Nick Wilkinson and Nico Bottari both recorded three goals and three assists in the Titans (5-11) loss to the Owls. Gavin Dungan (two goals), Jared Gauthier (goal, three assists), Dylan Noble (three goals) and Josh Parsons (15 saves) played well for the locals. North hosts Pinkerton on Wednesday.

DOVER 12, MERRIMACK 2

The Tomahawks fall to 9-6 after a loss to the Green Wave. Gavin Hickey and Cayden Dine scored the goals for the locals. Josh Kahn had an assist and Mason Tremblay made 20 saves. Merrimack visits Bishop Guertin on Tuesday.

WINNACUNNET 15, SOUHEGAN 2

Judd Harris scored both goals in the Sabers (3-9) loss to the Warriors. Souhegan visits Goffstown on Tuesday.

LEBANON 11, MILFORD 6

The Spartans (3-12) drop their third straight game on Friday afternoon. Dylan McLeod and Bentley Bowers each tallied two goals. Lukas Mangum and Tiegan Barb collected one goal apiece. Lincoln St. Jean added an assist and Rocco Bartling was solid in net making 22 saves. Milford hosts Kearsarge on Wednesday.

GIRLS LACROSSE

MILFORD 6, ALVIRNE 5

Payton Gaj and Maya Remella had two goals apiece as the Spartans improved to 4-10 with its second straight win. Shea Hanson and Kaelyn Grzyb had a goal each for Milford, which hosts Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough on Wednesday.

It was the closest game of the year for Division II Alvirne (0-12), which is at Kingswood on Tuesday.

SOUHEGAN 8, LONDONDERRY 6

It was another tight game for the Sabers, who improved to 13-1 with their 11th straight win. Merideth Heimark led the locals with three goals, while Libby Kennedy and Lanai Hickman had a pair each and Averie Curran had a goal and an assist.

Souhegan hosts Bedford on Wednesday.

GIRLS TENNIS

BISHOP GUERTIN 7, HANOVER 2

The Cards (11 straight) just keep streaking along, as they took five of six singles to make it a happy bus ride home from Hanover.

Georgie Howell (8-1), Jaclyn Kriscunas (8-0), Lydia Miller (8-0), Dayana Collito (8-3) and Ainsley Flood (8-4) got the wins.

Howell/Miller (8-2) and Cottito/Flood (8-0) got two more wins in doubles.

The Cards wrap up the regular season this morning at 10 a.m. vs. Pinkerton.

BOYS TENNIS

HANOVER 9, BISHOP GUERTIN 0

The Cards (8-6) suffered a tough defeat against one of Division I’s top teams in their regular season finale. Jonny Perrott at No. 3 managed four wins (8-4) while the doubles team of Maxx Lizotte/Max Moynihan played the closest match at 8-5.

It was a different story on Thursday, as Guertin downed Pinkerton 7-2. Jack Kostansik, Perrott, Moynihan, Jaxon Deyak and Lizotte got singles wins to clinch before doubles.

HOLLIS BROOKLINE 9, MERRIMACK 0

The Cavs (12-2) rolled in their regular season finale,losing only six games in singles.

HB winners were Arjun Inakollu (8-3), John Torpey (8-1), Sam Anthony (8-1), Sam Pistor (8-2), Greyson McSeveney (8-0) and Eli Mazzola (8-0).

Inakollu/Anthony (8-4), Aidan Curley/Pistor (8-4) and Mazolla/McSeveney (8-1) all won.

For 9-5 Merrimack, No. 1 Leon Rossman won three games in singles, and the teams of Rossman/Jeremy Nigen and Connor Miner/Felix Rattunde won four each in doubles.
