Panther girls snap losing streak with win over Dover
The Nashua High School South girls basketball team was one of the few local winners on Monday night as the month of February is underway.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
NASHUA SOUTH 50,
DOVER 36
Catherine Covert and Aryanna Murray led the Panthers with 10 points as they snapped a five-game losing streak, improving to 5-6.
Julianna Martin, Bailey Morin and Ella Karavanic each had seven for South, which next hosts Manchester Central on Wednesday.
PINKERTON 50,
NASHUA NORTH 35
The Titans (3-8) gave the Astros all they could handle, as close as four points in the final quarter before a couple of big Pinkerton 3-pointers helped the hosts pull away.
Bianca Medina led North with 13 points while Grace Cardin added 11. Jordyn Choate had 12 rebounds for the Titans while Tori Conrad had six blocks.
North hosts Salem on Wednesday.
LEBANON 70,
MILFORD 25
The visiting Spartans (0-11) became their hosts’ seventh straight victim, despite 14 points from freshman Bailey Johnson and six by Sarah Dobbs.
Becky Wright had 25 to lead 9-2 Lebanon.

Jesse Gertz scored his first high school goal for the Warriors, assisted by Brian Puttney and Michael McLaughlin, but it wasn’t enough as the locals (8-3) suffered their second straight loss.
WINNACUNNET 5,
ALVIRNE-MILFORD 2
The Admirals couldn’t contain the Warriors’ Cooper Kinnaly and Carter Renaud, each of whom scored two goals.
Alvirne-Milford is now 2-10 and will visit Merrimack on Wednesday.

Jason Boudle, Zach Boudle, Shrikari Bachiraju, Connor Lee, Kyra Harrington and Jasmine McHard all contributed to the Panthers’ scoring in a very competitive game.
