High School Highlights: Salem clips Merrimack girls tennis

Liann Grosso and Abby Fay swept through the 1-2 singles’ matches, and then combined in doubles for a third Tomahawks’ point. Maddie Curran and Allorah Bowen teamed up at third doubles for the other Merrimack victory.

The Tomahawks finished up the regular season at 6-8.

Nashua South 9,

Manchester Memorial 0

Yuvika Akkineni, Advika Chaudhari and Shreya Kethi-Reddy all scored their first varsity victories, and the Panthers, now 12-2, locked down the No. 4 seed in the upcoming playoffs with the victory.

Kaitlin Fitzgibbons, Meghana Avvaru, Priya Shokeen, Shrijaa Mohan, Kavya Phadke and Sahana Darbhamulla swept the singles for Nashua South.

Souhegan 7, Bishop Brady 2

Zoe Garvey, Maddie Daniel, Anna Goyette, Simonne Dodge and Lily Hipp scored singles wins for the Sabers, who head to this week’s Division II playoffs with a 9-5 record.

Losing pitcher Johnny Carlsen, Will McPherson, and Connor Sweeney each collected two hits for Campbell, which fell to 6-7 with the loss.
