Change the country’s leadership
In the four years since I wrote to you last, I have felt my world turned upside down. My family’s safety has been upended by Covid, and while the virus itself is nobody’s fault, on a national level there has been little leadership in mitigating its effect. While I personally felt this way, it was not until the New England Journal of Medicine published its first-ever political statement that I decided restoring national health and safety must be a bipartisan project. I see only one way to do this: the vote. When you re-elected me twice as your state representative, you affirmed that you trusted my opinion and political savvy. For the sake of this country, for the sake of your family, and for the sake of your own health, I urge you to change the country’s leadership.
