Keep Ayotte as New Hampshire’s senator

By Staff | Nov 5, 2016

We are about to embark on perhaps one of our most important votes we have ever undertaken. This November election will impact our nation as well as our great state.

Let me be to the point: We have a great, strong, and independent U.S. senator who represents us in Washington, D.C. Now, we may not agree with Sen. Kelly Ayotte on all issues – and you know, that is OK – but you all know she has New Hampshire residents in mind all the time when she votes on any position.

Now we have seen lots of ads from out-of-state PACs that mean nothing. Her mom is on Medicare – do you think she will vote against this program?

Now, let’s talk about veterans benefits. My comments are coming from a U.S. Navy, Vietnam-era veteran who has all medical benefits from the VA. Yes, we have problems with the VA, and Kelly knows it. So she co-sponsored a bill to introduce and helped to pass a program called Vets Choice. This allows veterans to obtain medical assistance outside the VA process.

Now, let’s talk national security. Kelly sits on Senate committees that oversee our national security. She is diligent in her duties toward our national security. She works with fellow senators within the Republican caucus and across the aisle with Democratic senators; working toward the elimination of any threats to our nation. For example, the Iranian treaty – what a disaster for our nation. Kelly did not support this treaty.

We need to keep Sen. Kelly Ayotte in the Senate to represent us for the next six years. So I am asking you to vote for Kelly in November, we need to keep her in the U.S. Senate for us.
