Reasons to retire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen

By Staff | Oct 20, 2014

On Oct. 30, 2008, Barack Obama said “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America” and, sadly, he has done so with the help of Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.

The following are just a few examples of why New Hampshire voters need to retire Sen. Shaheen:

• She accepted money from a group named J. Street, a Middle Eastern anti-Israel advocacy group.

• She falsely claims there is a Republican “war on women” with regard to birth control. This is nothing but propaganda and “spin.” All women can obtain contraceptives when needed. Ninety-three percent of Planned Parenthood’s money comes from abortions (genocide) and 7 percent comes from prevention of pregnancy. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

• Sen. Shaheen was “too busy” to attend a meeting of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee to discuss the threat of terrorist groups to America.

• She has supported bans on gun rights.

• She was the deciding vote on Obamacare. As a result of this legislation, thousands of people will be losing their health care Nov. 1 and taxes on Medicare income, top income payroll, capital gains, dividends and estates will all increase. Not one Republican voted for these taxes.

Jeanne Shaheen is an Obama “rubber-stamper” and complicit in his heartbreaking transformation of America. The Constitution should be our guide, not the liberal Democratic playbook. Please retire Sen. Shaheen on Nov. 4.
