Anything would be an improvement
Your Sunday guest commentary from Paul Bauer of Newfields (Dec. 29) leaves the reader suffering from an overdose of nonsensical bias which has historically been the prescription of choice from Democrats.
He castigates Scott Brown for wishing to unseat the lackluster, (Obama cheerleader) Jeanne Shaheen with a main thrust that Mr. Brown is from out of state. He neglects to mention, however, that so is Shaheen (Missouri), educated in Mississippi (no less) and transplanted here in 1973.
Shaheen has failed to impress even the most recently appointed senators and has a dismal performance at home, both as governor and senator. Whether the voter selects Jim Rubens or Scott Brown, he or she has cast a vote for improvement.
