Investigation continuing into fatal auto-pedestrian collision
MANCHESTER — The 64-year-old woman who died of injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Elm Street has not yet been identified, as police continue their investigation into the incident.
The driver, a 32-year-old Manchester woman, has also not been identified.
The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. Friday in the area of 435 Elm St.
Police said the driver was traveling south on Elm Street, and the woman was “in the roadway” when the collision occurred.
The woman sustained multiple injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police said the cause and totality of the crash are still under investigation by members of the department’s Traffic Unit. Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to call the department at 668-8711.
