NASHUA – The Nash Casino will celebrate its first birthday during the week of March 1, with five days of festivities featuring an array of special gaming promotions, exclusive merchandise and, of course, cake.

The Nash opened on March 4, 2025 and quickly established itself as a leading revenue generator for the state and the top supporter of nonprofit organizations, contributing nearly $15.5 million to 94 charitable partners throughout the year. Casino patrons have also shared in the success, pocketing $32 million in jackpot winnings during the past 12 months, including what are believed to be the largest progressive jackpot ($233,490) and the largest HHR machine jackpot ($84,950) in state history.

“Time flies when you’re having fun and we’ve had a lot of it,” said General Manager Eric Althaus. “Seeing the excitement on patrons’ faces when they win big or watch their favorite team score on the Stadium Social big screen and witnessing the wide smiles of our nonprofit partners when they receive their checks is why we love what we do. From March 1-3, Club Nash members can receive a free, birthday-themed t-shirt featuring the slogan “Cheers to 1 Year” from an onsite promotional kiosk, while supplies last.

On March 4, from 4-7 p.m., The Nash will award $10 in free play credits to all Club Nash members who are actively playing their favorite machine with their Club Nash card inserted. Simultaneously, at 5 p.m., all patrons are welcome to enjoy a slice of birthday cake.

Festivities will conclude on March 5 with Nash-branded baseball jerseys featured as a redeemable award for Club Nash members who accumulate 50 tier points.

In its first year of operating, The Nash has earned recognition within the gaming industry, receiving multiple honors for both its gaming excellence and patron experience. In August 2025, The Nash earned first place in a multitude of Casino Player Magazine’s Best of Gaming Awards categories, including “Best Dealers,” “Casino Where You Feel Luckiest,” and “Best Blackjack.” In November 2025, The Nash was recognized as the first-place winner of Casino Player Magazine’s Strictly Slots Awards “Casino Where You Feel Luckiest,” “Friendliest Casino,” “Best Nickel Slots” and “Best Slot Club Promotions” award categories.
