MERRIMACK — Play It Forward, the Nashua Community Music School’s popular annual fundraiser that has been on hold for the past three years, is returning to the stage this Sunday, Nov. 6, at a new time and location.
Organizers are cautioning folks that tickets are selling at a pretty fast clip, and will not be sold at the door. They urge those interested in attending to purchase their tickets, which are $35 per person, sooner than later by going to www.nashuacms.org/playitforward.
As it has from the first Play It Forward event, Nashua’s own legendary band, Aces & Eights, will be playing their old and not-so-old favorites, while NCMS students and some of their instructors will also entertain what’s surely to be a sellout crowd for this return engagement.
For the first time since its debut, the fundraiser moves to a new venue, the Biergarten at the Anheuser-Busch brewery, 221 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.
Also new is the afternoon, rather than the evening, time frame, which is from 1-4 p.m. And since that’s the same time the New England Patriots will be playing the Indianapolis Colts, organizers have made arrangements to hold the event in an area with multiple TVs “so fans can enjoy the music while keeping score” of the game — “all while enjoying drinks,” the first of which is included in the ticket price.

“A lot has changed since the last Play It Forward in 2019, but NCMS’ commitment to putting on the best live music show of the year in this area has only gotten stronger,” NCMS executive director Lindsay Rinaldi said.
“We are so proud of our committed musicians and volunteers who have patiently waited and worked tirelessly through the pandemic to make sure that when Play It Forward returned, not only would it be safe for everyone, but that it would be an even better show than those we’ve put on in the past,” Rinaldi added.
“We can’t wait to rock out with you all.”
