Arraignment this afternoon for man charged with killing Concord couple
CONCORD — Logan Clegg, the 26-year-old drifter arrested last week in Vermont in connection with the April shooting deaths of Concord residents Stephen and Djeswende Reid, is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon in Merrimack County Superior Court.
Authorities said Clegg, who has been jailed in Vermont since his arrest on a fugitive from justice charge, waived extradition Tuesday and was subsequently transported to New Hampshire to await today’s arraignment.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
Clegg is to be arraigned on two counts of second-degree murder, which accuse him of “knowingly causing the deaths of Stephen and Djeswende Reid by shooting them multiple times on April 18, 2022,” according to authorities.
