By Jeffrey Hastings - Special to The Telegraph | Jun 19, 2022

MANCHESTER – Manchester Fire, AMR ambulance, and police responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Pine and Valley Street Saturday.

Crews arrived at about 2:40 p.m. and found live power lines and a broken pole on a vehicle with people trapped inside. Eversource was requested for a priority response and additional AMR ambulances for multiple patients.

Firefighters stretched hoses and communicated with the two people trapped in the vehicle. Eversource arrived at the scene about 20 minutes after being requested and a lineman using a bucket truck disconnected the power.

Firefighters and medics gave medical attention to the two people removed from the vehicle, and one person from the second vehicle.

AMR ambulance transported the three people to local hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Manchester Police are investigating the accident and rerouted traffic for an extended time.
