NASHUA – State and local authorities this afternoon identified the man stabbed to death at 4 Marshall St. overnight as Evangelos Ioannou, 32, last known address of 69 Caldwell Road, Nashua.

Officials also said they have arrested a suspect, whom they identified as Joshua Shea, 31, of Nashua.

Shea is charged with one count of second-degree murder, which accuses him of “recklessly causing Mr. Ioannou’s death with extreme indifference to the value of human life by repeatedly stabbing and/or slicing Mr. Ioannou with a knife,” according to Attorney General John Formella and Nashua police chief Kevin Rourke.

Shea was booked on the charge and will be held overnight pending arraignment, which is scheduled for Wednesday morning in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
