NASHUA — Home-cooked or take-out, full-course or soup-and-sandwich, lunches and dinners of all types are being sought by organizers of the annual Nashua International Sculpture Symposium, which officially gets underway with this evening’s opening reception.

“Home-cooked or take-out, please help us nourish our artists’ creativity by providing or purchasing a meal,” organizers said in a statement.

For more information and to sign up to provide one or more meals to the sculptors, either go directly to the meal calendar at nashuasculpturesymposium.org/meal-calendar, or to the symposium’s main page, www.nashuasculpturesymposium.org, and scroll down to the meals links.

“One of the highlights of the Sculpture Symposium is the great effort provided by our volunteers, who have offered Nashua hospitality to all of the sculptors who have participated over the years,” organizers said, adding that everyone can help “by buying lunch from some of our great Downtown eateries or preparing a dinner in your own kitchen.”

This year’s 15th annual symposium, titled “Merriment,” runs through Saturday, June 4, at The Picker Artists building, 3 Pine St., Nashua.
