Young woman allegedly brandishes deadly weapon, threatens a man, pulls a fire alarm, scuffles with police, gets arrested, goes to jail
Jasmine Pagan, 22, of Nashua
NASHUA — An early-morning disturbance Sunday at an undisclosed address led to the arrest of 22-year-old Nashua resident Jasmine Pagan on one felony and four misdemeanor offenses — one of which was on an electronic bench warrant issued after she allegedly failed to appear in court on a previous, and unrelated, criminal trespass charge.
Pagan, whose street address wasn’t provided, was booked on the charges then ordered held on preventive detention pending a Monday arraignment. Whether that proceeding took place as scheduled, or if her bail status changed, wasn’t immedately known.
Police said it was just after 2 a.m. Sunday that officers responded to the undisclosed address for a report of a domestic violence incident, which, police said, involved Pagan and a man who know each other.
The man told police he had been threatened with a deadly weapon, allegedly by Pagan.
Detectives called in to further the investigation determined that Pagan, in addition to allegedly threatening the man, pulled a fire alarm in the condo complex, damaged property belonging to the complex, and resisted arrest when officers took her into custody, police said.
The charges Pagan is facing include one count of domestic violence — criminal threatening, a Class B felony; and one count each of false fire alarms, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest or detention, all Class A misdemeanors.
She was also charged on the EBW for non-appearance in court.
Police ask anyone who may have additional information on the case to call the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
