NASHUA – An unidentified man was taken to a local hospital around 6 p.m. Tuesday after he was found on the sidewalk near 100 Main St. bleeding from an apparent head injury.

Details were sparse Tuesday evening, but indications are the man was involved in a fight a short distance up Main Street.

Whether the fight occurred inside one of the Main Street establishments or outside on the sidewalk wasn’t immediately known.

Police cordoned off a roughly 100-foot section of the sidewalk from the Odd Fellows building to just north of 100 Main St.

They later removed the crime scene tape, and called for a fire engine to assist with treating the line of blood spatters with bleach before hosting the sidewalk down.
