NASHUA – The Nashua Police Athletic League’s Cone with a Cop event on Saturday drew hundreds of local youth and their families to Hayward’s Ice Cream, where law enforcement and fire officials from around the region shared scoops of delicious ice cream to help cool off during Saturday’s near 90-degree temperatures.

The event, which ran from noon to 3 p.m., featured several information booths, a dunking station, emergency vehicle displays, a meet-and-greet with Nashua K9 officers, plenty of photo opportunities and much more.

Nashua Transit provided free rides to the event for those lacking transportation, and the mainstay ice cream stand donated 20% of all sales to Nashua PA.
