Nashua police stepping up efforts in downtown Nashua

With the expansion of the outdoor dining area along Main Street, the Nashua Police Department is stepping up its presence in the greater Main Street area.

After receiving numerous complaints regarding disorderly vehicles that were disturbing patron(s) of local restaurants, uniformed patrol officers from second shift and the POP Unit have been conducting a series of enforcement actions to grow awareness regarding Nashua city ordinances and educate motorists on potentially disruptive behavior.

Officers assigned to this detail are addressing violations of the motor vehicle code, with the goal of enhancing the downtown experience and ensuring the safety of pedestrians in the area.

These activities are ongoing.
