Fire in Barrington destroys barn, injures firefighter

BARRINGTON, N.H. (AP) — A fire destroyed a barn and injured a firefighter in Barrington, New Hampshire, officials said Monday.
The fire broke out shortly before 1 a.m. and was called in by a tenant who lived in an apartment above the barn, the owner told WMUR-TV. The fire also destroyed a nearby outbuilding.
The firefighter suffered a minor injury.
Officials said it was difficult to fight due to a lack of water; crews had to shuttle some in.
The fire is under investigation.
