NASHUA – Boston Billiard Club & Casino recently announced the official launch of 21STUD, an all-new casino game that makes playing blackjack more fun and friendly for all.

21STUD is known as a 2-card blackjack. “No hits, no splits … two cards – that’s it!” It’s a relaxing, no-bust game where there is no such thing as a “wrong play.”

“We take great pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for players of all interest and skill levels, and 21STUD makes for a perfect addition to our existing suite of games,” said Kevin McMahon, director of communications at Boston Billiard Club & Casino. “Unlike the traditional blackjack, there are no specific moves or wagers that a player needs to memorize before sitting down at the table. We also love that 21STUD makes it impossible for the player to bust and awards payouts for any combination of 21 OR 22. Our guests are just having a blast playing it.”

After several months of trials, 21STUD will be officially launched on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, at 5 p.m., and will become a permanent fixture on the casino floor thereafter.

21STUD offers an updated take on blackjack where players make a single wager and then watch the action unfold. The game features multiple ways to win, including several “match bets.” You can win if you’re dealt a matching pair of cards, or by matching your cards with the dealer’s.

21STUD was created and recently patented by New Hampshire-based game designer Brandon Zyxnfryx of ZFX Gaming LLC and is exclusively available in the region at Boston Billiard Club & Casino.

According to Brandon Zyxnfryx, “My goal when creating the game, first and foremost, was to create something exciting and new, yet familiar and easy to understand. The beauty in the game is the social aspect of it. After initial wagers are placed, players don’t need to be concerned with strategy. Instead, they watch the hands unfold and root for themselves and everyone else at the table. We really see a sense of camaraderie that allows players to be more excited for each other’s wins. That has always been my vision for what the casino experience is supposed to be.”
