NASHUA – The Nash Casino presented nearly $2.2 million in combined contributions to 12 New Hampshire nonprofit organizations on May 19.

This amount was accumulated from the combined revenues generated by games of chance, historical horse racing machines and video lottery terminals during the month of April. Throughout 14 months of operation, The Nash has generated an unprecedented $23.5 million for New Hampshire nonprofits.

In December 2025, The Nash began offering five-day weeks to partnering nonprofits, down from seven days, in order to significantly increase the number of nonprofits served.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to support the work our nonprofit partners are doing to improve the quality of life for New Hampshire residents and families from across the state,” said casino General Manager Eric Althaus. “It is fulfilling to support initiatives that aid in preserving the state’s history and the arts and provide important health and legal resources to underserved communities.”

Mary Lyn Ray, president of At Eagle Pond, Inc,. said that the funds will be used to preserve Eagle Pond Farm and what it’s about and help pay for operational and program expenses.

“We are overwhelmed by The Nash’s generosity that puts solid ground under what we’ve taken on, and we look forward to welcoming current and future generations who will find here a place for poetry, history and reflection,” she said.

Senior women living at the Mary A. Sweeney Home will also benefit from this month’s charitable contributions, as the organization plans to invest in recreational experiences that enhance residents’ quality of life during their later years.

“These funds will support the free legal services we provide to low-income individuals and veterans navigating eviction, family, debt and domestic violence challenges,” said Ariel Clemmer, executive director of 603 Legal Aid. “Thanks to The Nash’s generous contribution, more New Hampshire residents will have access to the essential legal resources, guidance and representation they need.”

“Every individual deserves the opportunity to breathe well and live healthier lives,” said Allyssa Thompson, co-president and CEO of Breathe New Hampshire. “These funds will strengthen our community-based programs, expand education and outreach efforts across New Hampshire and help connect people affected by lung disease with the resources and support they need, while advancing our mission to improve the quality of life for individuals living with lung disease.”
