After a lengthy search, Nashua chooses Lebanon official as city’s chief assessor

Richard Vincent

NASHUA – City officials announced today the hiring of Richard “Rick” Vincent to fill the long-vacant post of chief assessor.

Vincent comes to Nashua from Lebanon, where he served a number of years as its chief assessor. Before that, he was the chief assessor in Rochester.

Vincent brings with him “a strong knowledge of assessing standards and best practices,” which city director of administrative services Kim Kleiner said “will continue to move the (assessing) department forward.”

The city has been without a chief assessor since the departure of Jon Duhamel in early 2019. The city opted to eliminate the chief assessor’s position at that time, and Kleiner has been overseeing the office since.
