Nashua billboard removed
AUBURN – A Billboard in Nashua is the latest victim of the intolerable cancel culture of the far left. An activist purchased and paid for a billboard that reads simply, “Trump Country.” Now, he has since been informed by the company that manages the billboard, that they have received complaints and, “The Ad will be removed in the next couple of business days.”
Freedom Project USA works to uphold the tenets of the Constitution. Dan Innis, FPUSA-NH chair, notes this is a direct attack on the First Amendment, “Eliminating free speech for showing support for a duly elected President is exactly why the First Amendment was written. This is an outrageous attack on the foundation of our great country.”
Innis continued, “Someone purchased and paid for an advertisement in support of President Trump. To take it down because people complained is pure insanity and should frighten everyone. Today it’s a ‘Trump Country’ sign, what if tomorrow it’s Fenway’s ‘Citgo’ sign because Joe Biden is against big oil? The cancel culture is going too far and it is now not just chipping away at our rights – it is full on wiping them out and too many cowards are acquiescing to these demands.”
“This company needs to change course here. Going the way of Twitter and Facebook by simply erasing opinions they don’t agree with is simply Anti-American,” said Matt Wylie, President of Freedom Project USA.
