Alleged gunman arrested after disturbance in NH parking lot

LEE, N.H. (AP) — A police rapid response team deployed Saturday after a shot or shots were fired in a parking lot in the town of Lee, officials said.
The Market Basket and other stores were locked down after a person fired a gun in the plaza parking lot, Lee Police Chief Tom Dronsfield told WMUR-TV.
The man was taken into custody more than an hour after police were alerted around noon. Shoppers were urged to stay away from windows during the lockdown as police tried to communicate with the gunman.
