Voter registration continues through Oct. 24 at 14 Court St.
NASHUA – Residents of Nashua who intend to vote in the Nov. 3 election but have yet to register still have two weeks to do so, according to city officials.
Representatives of the City Clerk’s office will continue to host in-person voter registration hours through Saturday, Oct. 24, which is the last day residents can register before election day.
Residents can also register at their polling place on election day itself during regular polling hours, which are 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. in all nine Nashua wards.
Anyone looking to register before the election can do so between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for the next two weeks at 14 Court St., which is across the plaza from the Nashua Public Library.
Extended hours have been added on the two remaining Saturdays: From 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Oct. 17, and from 10 a.m. – noon on Oct. 24, the final day.
Residents can also request an absentee ballot form during those hours.
State law requires proof of age, identity and residence to register.
Proof of citizenship is only required for people who are naturalized United States citizens. Those in that category should bring their U.S. passport and naturalization papers in order to register.
For all other registrants, a drivers license or birth certificate are accepted for proof of age; for proof of identity, a drivers license, state-issued ID, student ID or passport are accepted; accepted for proof of address are drivers license, state-issued ID, motor vehicle registration with current address, a utility bill or rental lease.
