MERRIMACK – Police are asking anyone who may happen to see “Spartacus,” a roughly 40-pound, cat-like animal that is legally owned by a Merrimack resident, to contact the department at 424-3774.
The 4-year-old animal, ownership of which is permitted by Fish and Game officials, went missing Wednesday in the Peaslee Road area, and the owner is searching for him, police said.
Spartacus “may come when called, but tends to be skittish around strangers,” police wrote in its Facebook post.
