On Saturday at about 12:11 a.m., members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operations Bureau responded to the intersection of Lake Street and Chestnut Street for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. Officers identified the driver of the motorcycle, the sole occupant, as a 23 year old male who had sustained severe injuries. The male was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter at the scene of the accident. A second vehicle was identified as being involved and had two occupants within. The occupants were not injured in the accident and both are cooperating with the investigation. The Nashua Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit was notified. Additionally, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division were assigned to further the investigation. At this time, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol contributed to this collision.
