Nashua Fire Rescue announces passing of Fire Alarm Supervisor Samantha Allen

NASHUA – It is with deep sadness that Nashua Fire Rescue announces the passing of Fire Alarm Supervisor Samantha Allen, a dedicated public servant whose professionalism, compassion and commitment to the community left a lasting impact on the city.
Visitation services will be held on April 16 from 4-8 p.m.at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 26 Kinsley St.
Allen served Nashua in multiple roles. She began her municipal career with Parking Enforcement on Nov. 25, 2019, where she quickly earned a reputation for her strong work ethic and positive attitude.
On Aug. 7, 2023, she transitioned to Nashua Fire Rescue as a fire alarm operator, becoming an integral part of the department’s emergency operations. In May 2025, she was promoted to fire alarm supervisor. In this leadership role, she demonstrated unwavering dedication, guided personnel with professionalism and ensured the highest level of service to both responders and the community.
Allen was also actively involved in all aspects of the department and served as IAFF Local 789 steward to the Fire Alarm Division.
“Sam loved being part of Nashua Fire Rescue and served this department with unwavering dedication,” said Chief Steven Buxton. “Her professionalism and kindness touched many of us, and her contributions will not be forgotten.”
