Man facing child pornography charges
NASHUA – Wayne Campbell, 55, of Nashua, faces five allegations of possessing child sexual abuse images, Class B felony.
In January, members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a cyber-tip, which was furthered by members of the Nashua Police Department’s Special Investigations Division.
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested Campbell at 3:37 p.m. Thursday on the five felony counts.
Each charge is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Campbell was housed on $500 cash bail, pending arraignment.
Nashua officers received assistance from members of the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit. NPD is also an affiliate of the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, working to combat child exploitation in New Hampshire.
