The Telegraph to host ‘Wild Wednesday’

NASHUA – More than a half-million dollars in savings will be available in The Telegraph’s annual holiday edition, available a full day early on Wednesday.

The Thanksgiving-Day newspaper – priced at just $2 – will go on sale early Wednesday morning so local residents can plan their Black Friday shopping sprees.

Festivities are planned at The Telegraph’s downtown office, located at 110 Main St. Suite 1. Curbside service will be available starting at 7:30 a.m. Cookies and coffee also will be served, and subscription special will be available. People also will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for to win $500 in cash and a gift basket filled with locally made items.

In addition, staff will be on hand to take entries for the Elf’s Adventures and Santa photo contests.

Sales flyers that will be included in the holiday edition of The Telegraph include: Best Buy, Olympia Sports, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta, Sears, Target, CVS, Christmas Tree Shop, A.C. Moore, JOANN, Rite Aid, Big Lots, Dollar General, Modell’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dell, Macy’s, Walgreens, Home Depot, J.C. Penney, Michaels, Staples, Sleep Number, Kohl’s, Ocean State Job Lot, Mattress Firm, Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress and Aldi.

“We hope people will once again come take advantage of our early holiday-edition sale,” said Telegraph Publisher and General Manager Heather Goodwin Henline. “Everyone is looking for a good bargain, especially this time of year. This year’s Thanksgiving newspaper certainly will not disappoint, with more than 30 sales flyers and a variety of local advertisement included.”

For the grand prize, readers will be able to fill out an entry form, which will be included in the Thursday newspaper. Entry forms may be mailed to The Telegraph’s downtown office, or dropped off in person. The drawing is scheduled for Dec. 13.
