List of Thanksgiving-Day sales flyers announced for annual Wild Wednesday edition

By Matthew Burdette - Editor in Chief | Nov 25, 2019

NASHUA – Santa Claus has scheduled a special visit this week to The Telegraph for the newspaper’s annual Wild Wednesday celebration.

The Thanksgiving-Day edition of the newspaper will go on sale a day early, and will contain more than 30 sales flyers so local residents can plot out their Black Friday shopping excursions.

Priced at just $2, the holiday edition has become a must-have for shoppers who want to find the best deals and start their Christmas shopping early.

“Our Wild Wednesday edition is our biggest of the year,” said Telegraph Publisher and General Manager Heather Goodwin Henline. “Like last year, it will not only contain a wealth of savings, but it also will include our holiday gift guide.”

“This is such a special time of year,” Goodwin Henline added. “We are thrilled to offer our holiday edition early, and to be able to be a good community partner by participating in Plaid Friday and Winter Holiday Stroll activities this week. This truly will be a busy time for us all, with visiting family and friends, but offering our Thanksgiving-Day edition to the community early, everyone will be able to spend additional time with their loved ones.”

Sales flyers that will be included in the holiday edition of The Telegraph include: Best Buy, Olympia Sports, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ulta, Sears, Target, CVS, Christmas Tree Shop, A.C. Moore, JOANN, Rite Aid, Big Lots, Dollar General, Modell’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dell, Macy’s, Walgreens, Home Depot, JC Penney, Michaels, Staples, Sleep Number, Kohl’s, Ocean State Job Lot, Mattress Firm, Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress and Aldi.

Festivities are planned on Wednesday at The Telegraph’s downtown office, located at 110 Main St. Suite 1. Curbside service will be available starting at 7:30 a.m. Cookies and coffee also will be served, and subscription special will be available. People also will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for special prizes, and staff will be on hand to take entries for the Elf’s Adventures and Santa photo contests.

“We hope everyone will come visit us on Wednesday,” Goodwin Henline said. “Stop by and have a cup of coffee and some cookies and talk with our friendly staff.”

“We also would like to thank our many advertising partners,” Goodwin Henline added. “Wednesday would not be possible without them and our many faithful subscribers.”
