BEDFORD – The ninth annual Paws & Claws for a Cause event is set for 5-8 p.m. April 11 at Sullivan Framing and Fine Art Gallery, 15 N. Amherst Road, Bedford.

This unique event, spearheaded by local Bedford business women and artists Amy Sullivan and Dana Boucher, offers the opportunity to attend a cocktail party with delicious refreshments provided by the Copper Door and the Martignetti Companies while viewing 100 original works crafted by local professional artists.

There is no charge to browse, but guests are encouraged to choose a painting for a donation of just $100. Frames for the artwork can also be purchased for an additional donation of $40. All sales revenue goes directly to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire.

“The donated works of art feature a wide variety of subject matter from landscapes, still life and of course some dogs and cats,” Sullivan said. “You never know what you might find in this beautiful collection.”

The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps more than 2,000 pets and the people who care for them each year.
