NH Liquor Commission to open new Manchester Liquor & Wine Outlet today

By Staff | Sep 8, 2022

CONCORD – The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) expects to open a new 13,000-square-foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Manchester on Thursday, September 8. The freestanding, state-of-the-art Outlet, which will feature more than 4,000 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits, will be located at 850 Gold Street to better serve the greater Manchester and Londonderry communities, as well as the traveling public.

NHLC has also begun construction on a new Nashua Outlet, which is expected to open in May 2023. NHLC is relocating the existing Nashua Outlet on Northwest Boulevard to a freestanding building on the same property. The 14,000-square-foot Outlet is expected to feature more than 4,000 wines and spirits.

“We are pleased to be opening our new Manchester NH Liquor & Wine Outlet, located in New Hampshire’s premier retail corridor alongside several nationally recognized brands,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “We are also excited to announce work is officially underway on a new Nashua Outlet. These new Outlet locations represent the latest step in our ongoing effort to enhance the customer shopping experience, strengthen our brand, and continue to generate critical revenue for the New Hampshire General Fund.”

The new Manchester Outlet, located alongside Hannaford, Walmart, Mercedes-Benz and Harley-Davidson, will feature a vast selection of wines and spirits, showcase special sections devoted to premium and ultra-premium spirits, high-end wine, as well as Outlet Price Busters and Wine Power Buys selections. The Outlet will incorporate high-efficiency materials and LED fixtures, oversized aisles for easy shopping, and offer enhanced accessibility for NHLC’s growing curbside pick-up offering. NHLC modeled the new Manchester Outlet after several recently built NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations.

The new, state-of-the-art Nashua Outlet will feature a robust selection of wines and spirits and will offer modern amenities, including high-efficiency LED fixtures, and oversized aisles for easy shopping. The Outlet’s strategic location within the Westside Plaza will place it alongside Market Basket, Marshalls and HomeGoods.

Since 2012, NHLC has renovated, relocated or constructed new NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations in more than 30 communities. Over the past year, NHLC opened new NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations in Concord, Rindge, Claremont, New London, and Littleton.
