MERRIMACK – A Londonderry man who allegedly “secretly recorded multiple individuals while they used a bathroom” at a Merrimack residence this summer is facing several privacy invasion charges, police said.

Benjamin H. Rogers, 32, of 31 Stonehenge Road, Apt. 1, turned himself in to Merrimack police this week after becoming aware a warrant had been issued for his arrest, police said.

He is charged with four counts of violation of privacy and two counts of attempted violation of privacy, all of which are Class A misdemeanors.

Rogers was booked on the charges and later released on personal recognizance bail pending arraignment, which police said is scheduled for Oct. 5 in Merrimack district court.

Police said the department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau launched an investigation in July into allegations of possible invasion of privacy.

Police said detectives determined through the investigation that Rogers had allegedly made the secret recordings of “multiple individuals” while they were using a bathroom.

Police didn’t say how Rogers is connected to the Merrimack residence where the alleged incidents occurred, nor did they elaborate on how he allegedly set up the recording system.
