Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs (GMYC) joins over 550 other 501c3 non-profit organizations in New Hampshire in the statewide fundraising campaign, NH Gives. An initiative of the NH Center for Nonprofits, NH Gives is a powerful, statewide 24-hour online fundraising event that is designed to build community, connect donors to local nonprofits and generate excitement about the nonprofit sector. The online platform provides for thousands of people to make both large and small donations. During the 2022 NH Gives Campaign, GMYC reached its goal of $5000 in donations from over 60 donors. This June, GMYC strives to reach a new goal of either raising $7500 during NH Gives or accepting donations from 75 unique individuals. Artistic Director, Esther Rhoades, reflects, “NH Gives is one of the most important fundraising tools for non-profit organizations across our state. GMYC depends on generous donations and grants to make our programs financially accessible to all singers, provide stand-out singing training and choral music education to children in grades K-12, and provide music-centered travel opportunities and choral exchanges for children and youth in the Monadnock Region. It’s amazing to see ALL OF THE EXCITEMENT swirling around GMYC as we get closer to June 6-7th. Then, on the Day of Giving, there is an undeniably electric energy that unlocks our amazing community of generous givers!”

Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs is the performance-based choral music program for young singers in the Monadnock Region. Since 1997, GMYC has served thousands of singers in five different choirs drawing from more than 20 towns in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. This year GMYC welcomed 50 new singers for a total of 100 singers. GMYC is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
