Pets of the Week

Lucas: Hello! My name is Lucas and I arrived here as a stray kitty; lost and lonely. I’m here at the Humane Society being cared for by really cool people like Susan, Cassie, and others that just want the best for me. That said, they really checked me out here and determined that I’m … ADORABLE. Beyond that, I may be immuno-compromised so that is something we can discuss but certainly, I should be your only cat. I’m very well behaved and love to be brushed and petted. I’m noticing that often, other cats can be grumpy about that attention. Personally, I love it. I’m quite laid back and ‘gentlemanly’ and not aloof. Physically, I’m medium in size, about 3 years old, have short black fur except a nice little tuxedo on my chest. I would be a great companion, so if I sound like the guy for you, please come by the shelter this week and meet me! We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at http://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-cats/.

Lilly: Hi everyone! I’m a one year old that’s been rescued from the lone star state and I very well could be the sweetest dog to come into the shelter in a longggg time. Maybe not the absolute sweetest, but certainly the pup that thinks the most of oneself. Ha! OK, I’ll try to keep it real as I describe myself beyond my sweetness. I’m a brindle colored medium sized (45 pound) one year old with four white paws and a white chest. (Stunning) I am ridiculously food motivated and that makes me anxious to learn if a treat is the reward. (Trainable) I’m really not a fan of other dogs. (Competitive) I admit; I need some work on that, but the volunteers chat about me and say I walk nicely with them so let’s focus on that quality. (Exercise partner) I’m as sweet as a Crumbl Cookie and I hope that you and I can become lifelong companions! (Lovable) You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at https://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-dogs/.
